This is one of my best friends, Kit, the morning after her bachelorette party two weekends ago. She is now married (yay!) and has moved all the way across the country to California. I miss her dearly, but thankfully I got a chance to spend quite a bit of time with her leading up to her big day. Not only did I have the pleasure of throwing her a bachelorette party, I was one of her bridesmaids! Stay tuned for the wedding photos, they’re so stunning!
As all bachelorette parties do, I had to invest in some sexy decorations. How cute is this underwear garland I made from a few pairs of cute panties, some mini clothespins, and heart string lights? Those lights are kind of my favorite thing, I got them from Ikea years ago, and I’ve used them for so many things other than Valentine’s day!
I got these adorable (and super funny) pinback buttons and magnets from ButtonBlitz on Etsy. I thought they were the perfect keepsake! Everything is better with magnets and buttons!
We ate entirely too much junk food, sipped pink lemonade vodka tonics and margaritas from mason jars (suggestively shaped straws included, so chic) and decorated pink velvet cupcakes (who knew that was a flavor?!) with various crude imagery. It was hilarious and obviously very classy. Like bachelorette parties are meant to be!
We had a bunch of fun playing bachelorette themed Fishbowl (a variation of charades,) a few bridal shower style games, and of course Tipsy Jenga!
Have you ever been to or hosted a bachelorette party?
