Beauty + Skincare Favorites
Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Oil – This oil has been a tried and true favorite for a few years now. I’ve been looking at getting more into retinol, so I dipped back into this oil and it’s been bringing some smooth skin!
Athena Club Razors – it feels as though I’ve tried every razor under the sun, and it’s true what they say about “women’s” razors a lot of the time! This is the best razor I’ve used in a long time, it even beats my old fave from Flamingo.
Handcraft Loves
Luna Soleil Tarot – I’ve never learned how to read tarot cards but I have always had mild interest, and these cards caught my eye. They are so pretty and minimal. A lot of cards have creepy imagery and these don’t have that at all. So chic, and why not try something new?
Wellness Favorites
Cadence Travel Capsules – These capsules have been one of my absolute favorite purchases of the year. They hold the perfect amount of all the travel necessities like moisturizer and face wash, even jewelry and advil. You can even customize the labels!
Question a Day Journal – I bought this journal again after I dug up my old one from college that I never finished. I plan to start it on my birthday next month, and hopefully commit to it for the full five years. I think it will be such a cool experience, especially if I can push myself to keep it up!
Fashion Finds
Reformation Waffle Weave Set – It’s a billion degrees here, but that means all the comfy fall and winter stuff is on sale! I’ve had my eye on this pullover from Reformation for months, and Nordstrom has it for half price! Cooler temps will be here before we know it!
Girlfriend Collective Swim – I love Girlfriend’s athletic ware and now they’ve launched swim! Just in time, because I need a new top to match my high waisted bottoms, and the one shoulder top is so cute!
Miscellaneous Obsessions
Antique Silverware – I have a set of my grandma’s silverware, and I’ve recently been scouring the internet for different pieces to complete the set. Who knew there were so many utensils out there? I’ve got pickle forks, jam spreaders, gumbo spoons, and a tomato server sitting in my cart right now. It’s a bit silly but also really cool to honor traditions of the past. Why not make a random Wednesday an occasion to break out the fancy forks?
Vegetable Motifs – This might be because of the recent deep dive into homemaking, but I love the old embroidered tea towels with tomatoes, peppers, and onions. The Staub tomato cocotte is an absolute dream, but I already have THREE dutch ovens (and the price is a little wild.) But you can bet, if it has a veggie on it, I’ll love it.
Streaming Spotlight
Russian Doll – Suuuper late to the party but I finally started Russian Doll. Natasha Lyonne is one of my favorite actresses, she is the coolest! The show had some twists I didn’t expect to a theme that has been done and re-done so many times. I would recommend, and it looks like we are getting a new season!
Dave – Season 2 just dropped on this show, and I loved season 1! So far it’s off to a slow start but I’m looking forward to the rest of it picking up.
Feasting On
Huckleberry Everything – This month my boyfriend and I went to Montana, and everything was huckleberry. Huckleberry ice cream, lemonade, taffy, chocolates, whiskey, jams, honey, anything you can imagine! I can’t get enough!
Pasta Alla Vodka – TikTok inspired this one, and I’ve finally given it a proper go. Onions, garlic, tomato paste, vodka, cream, a little bit of pasta water, and chili flakes! So easy and perfect for a weeknight dinner.
Good Humor Inspired Strawberry Cake – My guy’s birthday was at the beginning of the month, and I made him a strawberry cake with crumble topping inspired by those Good Humor ice cream bars, and it turned out so good! It was really simple – the cake was just strawberry and vanilla box mixes, and the crumble made from strawberry jello and vanilla pudding powders. Quick, cheap, and super delicious.
