Earlier this week, my friend Tatyana and I took a trip into DC to visit a rooftop bar that just opened in the Shaw neighborhood. On our way, we decided to stop by Union Market in search of a brightly colored heart mural I’d seen on Instagram and needed to photograph. I thought we’d snap a few photos and be off, but we ended up finding so much more! I had no idea there were so many cute shops, a ton of gourmet food stalls, a pretty homeware store, and lots of really gorgeous (and inspiring!) art hanging and spray painted on the walls. I’d love to go back and properly explore each of the other markets individually. It looks like a great place to grab lunch or drinks!

Yesss, I saw the new mural on Instagram too! Definitely need to stop by Union Market and check it out. It's soo bright and fun. Reminds of the style of graffiti you see in NYC. So happy the streets of D.C. are slowly following in that direction. 🙂
